Stratford-upon-Avon

Situated in South Warwickshire; picturesque Stratford-upon-Avon is one of the most famous medieval market towns in UK. It is the Birth place of the great William Shakespeare and the town and buildings themselves would be recognizable to the 800yr old English writer.

It is a relatively small town in comparison to other neighbors, with a population of 30k, however you will find the town center offers everything one needs. Furthermore, the character of the town and the historical buildings makes Stratford a truly delightful place to live, shop or to visit.

Housing is expensive and above the national average, with Rightmove quoting: Properties around Stratford-Upon-Avon had an overall average price of £398,100 over the last year.

The majority of sales around Stratford-Upon-Avon during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £598,747. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £326,190, with flats fetching £225,855.

If you are a family relocating and renting, there will be options for most budgets but may have to compromise on the central location for budgets lower than £1000pcm.

Warwick

Located in the central Warwickshire, Warwick is another delightful historical English Town, with medieval roots dating back to 1088. Most famous for its magnificent castle, you can find homes schooling and shopping a stones throw from this ancient gem.

Warwick has a very popular university, making the population it a young and vibrant. Encouraging many bars restaurants and independent shops to operate in the town. The town is small and easily taken by foot, however there are great buss route for the smaller suburbs of Warwick where the secondary schools are.

The majority of sales in Warwick during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £450,507. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £301,252, with terraced properties fetching £270,688.

Warwick is a fantastic option for all ages and housing dynamics. Furthermore there are good options at all budgets for renting and being close to the center.

Leamington Spa

Royal Leamington Spa architecturally is one of the most unique town in the midlands and the north of the UK. In the center of the Town (The Parade) Its regency almost London style bright white buildings tower above the pavements, making its feel like a capital city.

Being larger than its geographical rivals, you will find Leamington has slightly more to offer in terms of shopping, areas to live and beautiful outside areas to explore like Victoria Park and the Royal Pump Gardens.

Living in central Leamington is can be tranquil and idyllic with many apartments (if you are lucky enough) overlooking the River Leam. However there is also a small choice of suburbs such as Lillington, Whitnash and Millerton where there tends to be something for everyone when it comes to budgets and house types.

Kenilworth

Somewhat a bit more rural than our previous locations, Kenilworth is located 6 miles south- West of Coventry. It is a busy old market town that still has plenty of character history.

Famous for its own Castle, it was Once written about by Sir Walter Scott in his early 19th century novel, Kenilworth is probably one of the finest ruined castles to be seen in Britain today.

There is a lot more to do in Kenilworth than first meets the eye, such as the Elizabethan Gardens, Stoneleigh Abbey and Park and many of the nature reserves in the area.

It’s definitely worth a look if you are considering moving to Warwickshire.
